As she sat down, thinking, Leticia felt Raven approaching her and, at a given moment, putting his arm around. That was something incredible, as she hadn't felt human warmth for so long, not like this. She approached him slowly and leaned towards the man, her head on his arm now. Although she was a powerful being, she felt that he would protect her, and not otherwise. He was a man, a real one, fierce and fearless.
And though he knew nothing of the forces attacking them, he was brave enough to give her the power she needed. And he would've fought with her come what may. she knew it.
"Raven" she spoke, still next to him " this world has so much more than the obvious, it's made of so many more things. And the supernatural is one of them. there are bits and pieces of it which we find most often, and can't really explain them, but it's ok, and there are those that are huge and incredible. This might be one of those. I know you might think badly of me, but i am not anything in anyway vile, or evil. I just know too much. And people don't like me for it."
She leaned her head on him and closed her eyes. She felt so good.

Raven stood neat Leticia into the same crouched position as hers. Apparently there was no one around and nothing weird happened. He knew that Leticia somehow knew better when that occurred. He listened to her silently and with a smile. So the world had more to it than just a dirty street life. The abnormal things happened together with all the related things, with what people said, all was so real. Raven watched her and said: “Well then, I suppose that the world is not so boring. Maybe all legends are true and the world is mythical. That should be interesting. I heard of people that fight evil... they called themselves hunters and I always thought them to be pretty much deranged. But then, they might be heroes after all. Myths have evil sides as well and if they fight it then that’s great. Besides they should get paid pretty well for it.” Raven thought of that smiling. It would be a good addition to his boring street life.
Slowly Raven went up and took his hand from around Leticia’s shoulders. He walked with small steps up to the small fence that surrounded the church, probably there ended the holly ground, the safe one too. He gazed around wondering if he would see the whirl again. After all u didn’t saw that every day. It was an interesting and intriguing sight. Maybe one day he would fight those things and be able to defend Leticia from them. That should be interesting.
Still he wondered why in the world she was involved in such stuff and how people got to be involved in them. Where there vampires? He would have liked to meet them , he always wanted that after all. They were maybe blood devourers and killers but maybe some could be talked to somehow. That would have been a great experience.
Raven gazed at Leticia and he made one step over the fence line. Apparently the surroundings were silent, way too silent for what he knew. Slowly he went back to Leticia wondering what she believed of what he was talking about.

Leticia's heart cringed when she saw Raven exiting the safeline, but in the next moment he was back. She calmed down a bit, but she knew they were still in dange, and it was soon to be morning, which would have been hard to explain, because she couldn't bear it.
That was twice as dangerous because some of the spirites were immune to it and that would've meant leaving Raven alone. She stood and went to him, looking him in the eye. For a moment she felt like hugging him, but it would've been too much.
She just looked him in the eyes and smiled "You're brave, my friend. And you are curious, aren't you? I can tell you this much. Not all spirites deemed to be evil really are. And being a hunter... I dunno. It's not always that much of a thing."
She stopped as she felt something approaching. as she gazed through the window, she saw the whirls beforehand, circling the building, raising a sea of dust and dirt.
"Oh dear" she mumbled "aren't we in trouble?" she felt the wind trying to push open the doors, which were creaking loudly. Maybe the church wasn't that safe. After all, so many things had happened here since a ceremony had been last held.
"Stay before me" she shouted to Raven as she went towards the doors. Her body arched, as a cat's and she felt her nostrils widening. The doors opened in a burst and she was something trying to get in. It was a bit difficult for whatever spirit it was, as holy remainders were still present. So, before it completely materialised, she jumped over, pushing the thing outside once again, feeling the harsh skin on her own. And she bit. Hard.
Tossing the agonizing thing aside, she leaped and turned back inside, to Raven. She couldn't protect him forever, but she knew a place where they would be safe. And that would protect her from the sunlight: the cripts. Those tombs were still holy enough.

Raven was amazed to see Leticia acting like that. Apparently they were in trouble again somehow. He saw her going to the doors and attacking something that he didn’t really saw. That was weird and for a moment he was stunned. The most shocking thing he saw was the bite that Leticia apparently gave to that thing, whatever it was. She looked like she was pretty changed somehow.
As soon as she returned he asked with an alert tone: “What the hell was that anyway? I don’t think I saw anything. What you were fighting with?” He gazed at her still shocked even though he didn’t believe that he could be. He waited and gazed at her with an alert look and then at the door.
Raven stuck near Leticia and waited for her next move.

"You saw nothing?" her voice bursted out in a rage "Go then, go see the corpse. It's still there, though soon it'll burn down"
She paced around angrily, still aware of the doors she had once again pushed closed, but slowly felt her anger slowing down, as she looked at Raven's surprised and worried face. Once again she felt like Holding him and once again she had to suppress that. "not now" she thought.
She tried to realise what to do next. The cript was a good choice, but, at the same time, it was dangerous, because they could be caught in a trap.
Nevertheless, there was no other choice, especially that sunrise would come soon enough. She turned towards Raven, her back to the doors "Do you trust me? Come with me" Just then, the doors were blown aside again and she was thrown down by some ghastly force. It threw her to the ground, meters in the air, and she landed on her face, hitting her head hard to the stone floor.

Leticia-s voice held anger as she spoke to him and Raven was amazed and at the same time frightened. The fact that he was frightened was very weird thinking that he wasn’t afraid out of nothing. It was like something inside him shouted to fall back while she was angry even though he only saw Leticia which wasn’t more than an average girl, well, sort of, a pretty weird one. Raven had no idea from where that instinct of turn around and run like hell came from.
He made a few steps into the direction of the door, a bit curious in checking that body after all but then he heard her and she asked if he trusted her. Then she told him to follow her again. Raven had no idea if he trusted her or not but apparently she was good at avoiding these things and that worked more as a self preservation instinct than as trust.
Soon enough he saw Leticia thrown back by something and apparently she hit hard enough to go unconscious. Raven gazed into the direction of the whirl approaching the gates. Inside it he could almost see some sort of human figure but he wasn’t sure. With a fast move he revealed the knife from his boot and ran away stabbing at the figure. Apparently they were pretty material after all.
But he felt himself flying the next moment and landed up against a wall. The knife followed piercing his right lower arm, something that made him gasp and growl. He got the knife out with a fast move and held it with his left hand. The other one felt pretty painful after all.
With Leticia down he had a feeling that things would soon turn up very bad for him considering that only she knew how to handle such things. He ran close to her and lifted his head hoping that she didn’t suffered too much damage from that hit. After all it could have been a deadly one. Apparently she was dead. Raven couldn’t even know that. She was cold as usual and she didn’t breed. It was pretty much impossible to figure if she was alive or not.

Although her body did not know the weakness of humans, Leticia felt powerless when she hit the ground. For a few moments, she lost her senses as she had been strangely drained of all her powers by the demon that had attacked them.
When she came back to her senses, she felt Raven's arms holding her and then there was something else, too. Blood. The smell of it filled her nostrils, and for more than a moment she felt she wanted to feed, to drink him whole and nothing else in the world.
But danger was close, and they were on the same team. Still weak, she rose slowly, trying to figure at the same time how bad Raven's wound was, and then she stood, waiting for the thing to attack once more. This time, she was ready.
The clash came, and she was ready for it. She pushed and hit, her claw-like fingers digging deep in the supernatural flesh. The demon was weak for now, yet she didn't know how much. SO she pushed her chance, and with a short kick, she made her way to the flesh which had a faint sulphure smell. And she bit.
She could feel all of the energy, filling her body. It was in no way pleasant, as it had to accustom with her own. And it was unclean energy, which wasn't a perfect thing to drain someone of, but she had no chance.
For now, the demon was down, though not for long. She turned around, still in pain, looking at Raven. Once again, she craved for his blood.

Leticia rose, something pretty unexpected considering that she seem to be dead. Raven was amazed but happy at the same time. Yet he wondered how in the world was she able to fight those things. Was she some sort of hunter, one of those that Raven sometimes heard about? She soon was upon the weird creature and attacking it, letting it unable to move much for the moment.
Soon she turned to him and into her eyes he saw a creepy look. But then how could she be creepy when he was facing the other creature as well. Raven decided that sometimes his instinct told him to turn around and run away from her and he had no idea of a plausible reason for that. Either way he went close to her and threw the knife that embended into the creature that was down.
He had no idea how he would recover it but for now they had to get rid of the thing and get out of that cursed place somehow. Raven gazed at Leticia with some sort of innocent look as he still felt the fear while close to her.

Leticia was stunned at the bravery her new friend had shown. He had fought although it wasn't anything normal in that battle. It wasn't an alley heist, and still he was brave and valliant.
The knife stuck into the flesh of the agonizing being and for one moment, she thought of how good it was, had it been of silver. Catching Raven's glimpse, she realized he was somehow afraid of her, but she knew all the same he trusted her to take him somewhere safe.
She paced quickly to the cripts, and the massive iron door opened with a huge crack. "Come" she shouted, ready to close the doors as soon as he would be in too. She felt the scent of his blood and it somehow drove her crazy. Still, she would have to act bravely and endure it. There was no other way. She waited for him to come.

Raven went back and he heard Leticia calling for him. Apparently he had to follow her and that’s what he planned to do. He feared her now but it wasn’t a rational fear. It was the instinctual one which he couldn’t even explain so he decided to ignore that considering it foolish. He said: “I hope that’s one last thing that will follow us around. What’s next... werewolves?”
The young human followed Leticia even though he had no idea where she was heading to. He felt something pouring down the palm of his hand and he knew that it was blood. Gazing at the arm he saw that it was half red and that the wound was still opened. He cursed slowly and kept following Leticia.

As she approached the crypt, Leticia felt the scent of blood becoming stronger and stronger, and she realised Raven was wounded pretty badly. the mere scent drove her crazy, as she was pretty hungry by then, and she wanted him all the same.
But there was no time for weakness and so she went on, downward, trying to protect herself and the man next to her. She owned him that at least. She had gotten him into this.
Plus, she had to admit to herself, he was something else. he was special.
