Veronica was staying in Miami for a few weeks, or until the Aberdeen family accepted her as a passer. This wasn’t the first time Veronica had to deal with the Aberdeen family, and it wasn’t the first time she was accused as a thief. Apparently this family made a big deal about their human population. How there are those that must exist, and those that must be changed, and those that must be controlled and exterminated. Veronica’s recent activities were raising to much suspicion, and because she was not of family blood, she may make a nuisance of the vampire world. Veronica was meant to stay on Aberdeen castle grounds, while the council conversed. It was the third day of their “conversation” and it was daytime, so Veronica stayed it the over-stacked library. She sat near a window and read an old book of Edgar Allan Poe’s. She marveled over the fact that this family had all of their windows tented; no direct sunlight. Veronica read each page and carefully turned to the next. What with the careful balance of human/food ratio, Veronica was surviving on animal blood. So not good- Not only did animal blood not make you at full strength, it was entirely against Veronica’s… whatever was left as a soul. Eating poor animals... Veronica scrunched up her nose each time she took a sip from her tea cup.
