Vampire Application
Name:Veronica Tobin
Vampire Name(if any different): ((Same))
Year of Human Birth:1904
Year of Change:1925
Age(both at change and now): 21 at change and 106 now
Birthplace and place of residence currently: Born in Loghill Village, Colorado. Moves around often, but owns a house in New Orleans, Louisiana
Creator: (name of the vampire who turned you)Anthony Zadawick
Avatar (the celebrity that represents you, if any):Genevieve Cortese
Looks and Attire(picture optional):
Personality(at least a paragraph):
She enjoys "playing"; doesn't settle for the eat and run idea. Prefers to torture and destroy a person rather than kill them quickly. Comes off as quiet and shy, but those are the types one has to watch out for, right? Veronica has a brilliant mind, all the better to come up with better torture ideas.
She enjoys getting close to a person, making them care for her. Then she takes everything away from them: herself, their friends, and their families.
Has been seen sneaking into zoos at night and even into the exhibits. A heartless creature, yes; but to those few lucky enough to be tortured by her (in the "getting close" stage), she has been seen to have emotion towards animals.
Strengths/Powers(no normal vampire strengths):
* Better persuasion than other vampires
*Definitely has her sexuality on her side. Remembers how to flirt and get close to someone.
*Has an ability to almost "predict" the future
*Prides herself on resembling having a heart. All the easier to pass for human- at least, to a human and some slayers. Never seems to do well with werewolves though... must be the smell?
Weaknesses(no holy water or stakes or normal vamp weaknesses):
*Those who look like family and friends from her past. Their constant appearance breaks her slowly; almost as if she could never be rid of them, never forget them, never lose them.
History: (at least 250 words)
Was born in the states, and currently resides there too. Had a younger brother, but before she was changed, he was killed by Anthony. She lived with Anthony for awhile; learned from him. At least until he was killed in 1947 in a raid of slayers. Anthony had sent Veronica out for food, the reason for her continued existence. Moves about from state to state and even has the means to leave the country, but has a small mansion in New Orleans. Loves to be in New Orleans at night.; there are many... interesting characters about at night. Not to mention the other vampires. Still considered a young vampire (combined with her persuasive personality), others feel... almost obligated to take her into their care and teach her other means to hunt. Because of her younger brother, Veronica refused to attack/change children- an issue she came to face in Russia with a family who solely attacked children. The only time she changed a child was when she met a young boy who resembled her brother. He was killed within a week.
Sample/Past Roleplay:
Amarya rolled over as she woke to her cell phone vibrating loudly. Eyes still closed, Amarya searched blindly for her phone. Her hand smashed into her alarm clock, sending it back a few inches, and nearly sent her reading lamp to the floor. Her hand landed on her cell phone and she slowly flipped it open. She let out a short yawn befor mumbling a soft, "Hello?"
There was no reply. Amarya pulled her blanket up tighter to her chest and snuggled in deeper for warmth before repeating, "Hello?"
There was a soft breathing over the phone now. Terror filled Amarya as she sat up in her bed. She clicked on her lamp and said, "Who is this? I will call the police!" After a few moments of silence a voice whispered, "Amarya, are you alright?" Amarya's voice faltered as she whispered, "Daddy...?" The conversation was over; he hung up. Amarya sat in silence for a bit before looking over at her clock with blank eyes. When she realized that it was way to early for classes to begin. Amarya slowly pulled her dark red capris. She would try to take the morning shift for the zoo today and take classes later on. She pulled on a bright red tank top and pulled her hair back into a messy ponytail. She slowly walked out of her dorm room and down the deserted staircase. She saw one guard stationed at the front door. He asked Amarya why she was up so early. Amarya wasn't up to having a lengthy conversation, so she muttered, "Rough sleep. May I get out?" Once the guard nodded his head, Amarya pushed open the doors and headed outside. While purchasing a cinnamon bagel and a chocolate milk, Amarya thought back to the phone call. Why had her father called and NOT want to talk to her? And why would he call when he knows it is night in California? She accepted the receipt from the cashier, took her bagel and went for a walk.
She considered calling him back; but if he hung up, it had to be for a reason, right? She sat on bleachers and waited for the sun to take up it’s job once more. The zoo wouldn't open until 10 today, so she had time to just think. It wasn’t long before the first runner was on the track. Amarya focused on him, instead of her father. Still he crept into her mind; why would he ask if something was something wrong?Rule Word:RED ROSE
