0II. nicknames grimsy, for those who can't spell the real deal. which is most people.

0IV. hair hair is roughly shoulder-length, with a soft wave. dark brown, nearly black. usually messy without a particular style to it. grows very, very slowly.
00V. eyes eyes have a distinct shape, derived from her indian heritage. dark brown in color, with a dim, unearthly glow to them.
0VI. unique features her skin is naturally dark, but the vampire part of her heritage lends it a pale undertone. her nose and ears are pierced, though she rarely wears anything in them. she has fangs, but they are small.
VII. dressing style comfortable and practical. she buys clothes at discount stores, so her wardrobe is usually quite eclectic. she avoids bright and eye-catching clothing, preferring plainer styles.

VIII. other because she is half-vampire, half-human, she has some distinct strengths and weaknesses related to that. she can go out in the sun with protection (strong sunblock, umbrella, etc.), and can survive on blood or human food, though most food besides meat make her sick. too much blood makes her very ill as well. she has to keep an eye on her heart for irregular beating, since... well, she's half-dead.
0IX. overall personality graemsay is usually quiet and unassuming, but when she does socialize, she is the one who gets directly to the point of things. she will tell you exactly what her opinion is, even if you don't want to hear it. sometimes her presence is a bit overbearing, but she's actually very tolerant if you can manage to approach her. deep down she is a kind person and usually can't resist a request for help... so long as it agrees with her morals. she is very logical, and calculates her actions and decisions carefully.

0VI. overall history graemsay was part of an endeavor during the cold war, when the russians were suspected of training vampires for warfare. she was developed as an experiment to create a type of "ultimate slayer"-- a living weapon with the skill of a human and strength of a vampire. the project was started in iceland, where they could safely isolate the laboratory. it was there they came in contact with solmund, a wandering vampire with no alliances, who was willing to help them with their experiment. he presented to them elba, his daughter and a half-breed produced through natural conception. it had killed the mother, and elba herself had many health issues, but the scientists were sure that they could use science to fine-tune the process.
solmund donated his genetic material, and an ideal candidate was found for the female ova. graemsay, named after an island off iceland, was conceived, manipulated and grown in a carefully monitored laboratory. when she was "born", they immediately set to work training and conditioning her for her purpose. she was indeed stronger and more stable than elba, but she too had problems. she did not have any extraordinary skills or powers, as some slayers did, and she was aging slowly-- approximately three years for every one "human" year. they went on to create several more hybrids, though none were any more successful than graemsay.
the project was called off in 2006, when the united states troops finally left iceland. most of the creations from the project were considered crimes against nature and were destroyed, but solmund managed to smuggle graemsay and elba from the lab. he took them to america and through a series of shadowy deals managed to establish them there. elba, having been accustomed to "normal" life before, managed to find a stable job, but graemsay had a more difficult time adjusting to the unstructured and unpredictable life outside of the lab. she took up a vagabond lifestyle, traveling through the states, getting accustomed to her new surroundings. still, she has many decisions to make. will she pursue a slayer life, performing the only duties she was ever taught? will she seek acceptance in the human world, or overcome her discomfort around full-blooded vampires? only time will tell.
